  The food was great. The free loaf of bread and oil was also incredibly good. Though, the waiter hardly came to the table. My drink sat empty basically the entire time. I may go back a some point, but if the waiting service is bad on the second run, it will be the last time. Based on my experience, I'd order the food as take-out if it's possible. It really was an uncomfortable experience with our waiter seemingly ignoring our table. I suspect it was because my brother had asked if there was a price difference if he did a half and half pizza with two different toppings. After that first encounter, he tended to everyone around us, while only coming back to the table once over a 50 minute visit. We had money and tipped the waiter generously (I argued for a better tip as the others at the table thought it wasn't worth it). Let's hope that the second time isn't the same. Usually I wouldn't give a business a second chance, but the food was awesome.

  Some of my favorite Italian in Boise! Gino has always come by to ask how our meal was. The braised boar shanks are amazing. Best wine list in the valley. It is popular and gets busy. Make sure and get a reservation! Gino- My only advice to you would be to not turn people away without reservations. This kind of put us off the first time. Give them a wait time option or tell them you are completely booked if so. This can be a bad first impression. We almost didn't come back but I'm glad we did.

  Always a fantastic meal with excellent service. My family and I have tried about half the menu and it's all been fantastic, succulent dishes. Make a reservation.
